Aldwinckle, co. Northampton; descended from Sir William Kleistwood, of Crunfonl, co. Northampton, younger son of Thomas Hesketh, Esq., of Hesketh. Of this family was Geoeob Fleetwood, colonel in the Parliament's service, one of King Charles's judges, and a Lord of Oliver Cromwell's other house; the celebrated General Fleetwood, Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland under the Protectorate; and George Flbbtwood, pre-eminently distinguished in the service of Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, by whom he was created a baron of that kingdom
