Info about the family:

Boycott, Hinton, and Rudge, co. Salop. The present representative of this family is Miss Emma Boycott, of Budge Hall, the eldest dau. and co-heir of the late Thomas Boycott, Esq., of Budge. The only one of the daus, and co-heirs of the said Thomas Boycott, who left issue, was Lousia Mary Catherine, the youngest, who married Andrew Wight, Esq., of Ormiston, N.B., by whom she had issiue an only surviving child, Cathcart Boycott Wight, Esq., of Ormiston, heir to the Budge estates, who m. Lizzie, youngest dau. of George Ghazebrook, Esq., of Fedmore, near Stourbridge, co. Worcester, and has issue. The original grant of Arms to Silvanus Boycott, of Hinten, and his brother Francis Boycott, of Buildwas, is at Budge Hall. It is dated 21st March, 1663, and was made by Sir Edward Bysshr, Knt., Clarenceux. The Arms and crest are thus blazoned in the grant.
