Middlesex and Stourbridge, co. Worcester, granted 14 June, 1707. Ambrose Crowley, of Stourbridge, a Quaker, disclaimed all right to arms and gentility tit the Visit. 1682-3. His son, Sir Ambrose Crowley, was sheriff of London 1706-7, and got a grant of arms
