Chester; founded by BicHABC de Vebnon, said to be a son of William Vebnon, of Vernon Castle, in Normandy, who came to England with William I., and was one of the barons created by Hugh Lupus, Earl of the co. Palatine of Chejter; his descendant, Richard db Vebnon, Baron of Shipbrook temp. King John, had two sons: I. Wabinb; II. Sir William, ancestor of Vebnon, of Haddon; Vebnon, Bart., of Hodnet, extinct; Vebnon, lord Vernon; Vebnon, of Clontarf, Sic. Wabini db Vxb-non, the eldest son, s. as Baron of Shipbrook, and bad two sons: I. Wabinb, last feudal Baron of Shipbrook, who left three daus. co-heirs; II.
