Az. a cross quarterly pierced or, on each limb of the cross a chev. gu. and for honourable augmentation, granted to George Thomas Whitgreave, Esq., of Moseley, High Sheriff co. Stafford 1837, and his descendants, to commemorate the services of his ancestor in the civil wars, and the preservation of King Charles, a chief ar. thereon a rose gu. irradiated gold, within a wreath of oak ppr.
