Bryn-y-gynog, co. Denbigh; Thomas Palgrave, Esq., J.P., eldest surviving son of William Palgrave, Collector of Revenue and Customs at Yarmouth and Dublin, who was, according to the pedigree of his family recorded in the College of Arms, sixth in descent from William Palgrave, of Fulhain, St. Mary Magdulcn, co. Norfolk, whose elder brother, Thomas Palgrave, d. 6 March, 1633, and to whose memory a monument still exists with the arms of the family of Palurave, viz., "A lion ramp. and a crescent for diff."
